You are invited to the welcoming of PhD students at the Department of Health Sciences at the Faculty of Medicine. Four PhD students will talk about their projects. You are welcome to discuss and ask questions or just sit back and listen.

Program

Helena Nilsson: Children cared for in the general intensive care unit focusing family centered care.

Jens Offerman: Technology adoption for active and healthy ageing through a generational perspective.

Marie Gudmundsson: Personal recovery, return to work and occupational engagement in people with stress-related mental health problems who are provided a nature-based intervention.

Svala Berglind Robertson: Home-based palliative care: Lived experiences of patients and family caregivers in rural and urban areas in Iceland.

All presentations will be given in English.

No pre-registration required. Fika will be served.
